Hyperion™ has been formulated using the highest quality hydroprocessed paraffinic oils. Laboratory and field tests have clearly demonstrated the positive impact of these base oils on the properties and performance of the finished product.
Hyperion™ oils are inherently biodegradable by >30% over 28 days per OECD 301B. In addition, all grades are free from metal-based additives.
Very reduced carbon and varnish deposits result in longer oil and component life
Hyperion™ uses an ash-free (zinc-free) additive system that has been specifically tailored for these base oils. This further improves the longevity and high temperature performance of the Hyperion™ Series. An oil life extension of 50% can be expected. (Oil usage analysis to determine optimal change frequency is recommended.)
Use Hyperion™ on rotary screw compressors where discharge temperature ranges up to 190°F (88°C).
