EZ Switch® Spray is a revolutionary new way to lubricate rail switch plates.
The can was specially designed to fit the inverted rifle-type applicator. The operator must pull the trigger and apply the lubricant to the desired location, thus decreasing the time required to lubricate a needle to one or two seconds.
The lubricating film dries in approximately 2 minutes at 21oC, is impervious to rain and yields approximately one can of EZ Switch® Spray for 100 Switches.
The EZ Switch® Spray formula contains a resin that binds graphite to the metal. The film is neither dusty nor wet. As you operate the Switch, pressure forces the graphite into the metal surface and the color in the contact area changes from a dull gray to a bright silver color.
