Decathlon™ HTC oils are recommended when carbon deposits or varnishes are not tolerable. HTC's thin film evaporation characteristics are excellent. However, the crucial point is the residue formed. Carbon and varnish deposits cause wear and Decathlon™ HTC does not form these deposits and if the equipment is contaminated by them the HTC's natural detergency will dissolve them.
HTC oils are a blend of synthetic base fluids and antioxidant additives, formulated to protect against corrosive atmospheres and resist oxidation at high temperatures, providing fluid film lubrication on chain pins, bearings and wire ropes at high temperatures.
